On March 16, 2025, the official website and X account (formerly known as Twitter) for the Gnosia anime unveiled an exciting new promotional video along with a captivating key visual. This brief video announced that the anime is scheduled for a release in October 2025, although the exact date has not yet been revealed.
The Gnosia anime adapts the popular social deduction visual novel RPG developed by Petit Depotto, which first launched for the PS Vita in June 2019. Following its initial release, the game expanded to the Nintendo Switch in December 2020, and was made available on Steam (Windows) in January 2022. Currently, Gnosia can also be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
New Trailer and October 2025 Premiere Date Announced
In the promotional video shared by the anime’s official team, we learn that Gnosia is set to debut in Fall 2025. Fans can expect a more precise release date to be announced shortly.
The newly released trailer showcases the primary cast of the anime, featuring characters such as Raqio, Setsu, Gina, SQ, and Yuri. The narrative revolves around the central theme: the characters must unmask the Gnosia, a mysterious and deadly entity that threatens their survival. The video presents not just an intriguing plot but also highlights the remarkable animation quality that the audience can look forward to.

In an exciting development, the official Gnosia website has announced that the voice actors from the main cast will attend a special stage event at the Aniplex Booth during AnimeJapan 2025, which is set to take place on March 22, 2025.
Creative Team Behind the Gnosia Anime
The trailer has also introduced us to the talented staff behind the Gnosia anime. Directed by Kazuya Ichikawa at Studio Domerika, the series script is overseen by Jukki Hanada. Arisa Matsura is responsible for adapting the original character designs by Kotori for animation, while the music composition is crafted by Hideyuki Fukusawa.
Supporting the production are Art Directors Mayumi Kamada and Mari Takada, Sound Director Ryosuke Naya, Sound Production by Studio Mausu, Photography Director Tatsuya Nomura, and producers Yoshitaka Kimura from Aniplex and Toru Kawakatsu from Petit Depotto, along with Fumiya Matsuzaki, who serves as the Jinro Supervisor.
Set in a drifting spaceship, the storyline of the anime follows characters who must navigate their uncertain environment to identify the Gnosia, a deceptive and deadly threat that can masquerade as humans. As they work to uncover the truth, Yuri and her companions face challenges that test their resolve to eliminate the Gnosia menace.
