Event Schedule
The Monster Hunter Now 1.5-Year Anniversary event will kick off at 9 AM on March 17 and run until 11:59 PM on March 23, 2025, providing hunters with a full week to participate.
Featured Monsters
Throughout the event, certain monsters will appear more frequently in designated habitats:
- Coral Pukei-Pukei: Forest habitats
- Nightshade Paolumu: Desert habitats
- Pink Rathian: Swamp habitats
- Golden Rathian: Desert and swamp habitats
- Black Diablos: Desert habitats
- Azure Rathalos: Forest habitats
- Silver Rathalos: Forest and swamp habitats
Conversely, the following monsters will be less common in specific areas:
- Coral Pukei-Pukei: Swamp habitats
- Nightshade Paolumu and Pink Rathian: Forest habitats.
Hunters must defeat Coral Pukei-Pukei, Nightshade Paolumu, Pink Rathian, Black Diablos, or Azure Rathalos to add them to the Monster Tracker. Notably:
- Only monsters from subspecies will be trackable in the Monster Tracker if the player has completed Chapter 9: Bright Lights and Beasts, thus unlocking 5-star monsters.
- A broader range of monsters will appear in-game.
- Monsters affected by Dimensional Links will also be more frequent.
Enhanced Rewards
From March 17 to March 23, basic rewards will see significant boosts:
- Monsters will yield 50% more materials upon defeat.
- The first and second slots for basic rewards will yield double the materials.
- In Elder Dragon Interceptions, basic rewards will be doubled when repelling the monsters and will increase by 50% upon their defeat.
- The first to fourth slots for rewards will also include double materials.
Exclusive Event Quest Rewards
Limited-time quests targeting Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos will be part of the event. Players can earn the following exclusive rewards:
- Special MH Now 1.5-Year Anniversary Medal
- Unique 1.5-Year Anniversary Outfit
- Distinctive Guild Card background celebrating the anniversary
- Earth Crystals and a variety of other materials
- Gold Rathian Plate, Silver Rathalos Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, among other collectible items
