SomeOrdinaryGamers Responds to Genocide Allegations on X

Mutahar Anas, popularly known by his YouTube alias “SomeOrdinaryGamers,”has made a notable return to X after a hiatus that began in August 2024 when he deleted his official account. On March 12, 2025, he resurfaced on the platform by sharing a screenshot of a recent Instagram story from the political commentator Hasan “HasanAbi.”

The Instagram story highlighted a video by YouTuber Noah Samsen, with the provocative title “The YouTubers Who Backed a Genocide.”The accompanying thumbnail prominently featured the names of several content creators, including:

  • Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, known as “Destiny”
  • Thomas “Turkey Tom”
  • SomeOrdinaryGamers
  • Ethan Klein

In his response to the serious accusations suggesting he “defended genocide,”Mutahar urged HasanAbi to “vet out slander before promoting”potentially misleading narratives. He emphasized:

“I get watching other people’s videos is all you’re really good at, but try vetting out slander before promoting @hasanthehun. I have never defended (or ‘backed’) the Israeli genocide on innocent Gazans. Never will I ever.”

His return sparked a flurry of reactions from netizens, with many expressing their thoughts on his comeback to Elon Musk’s platform. Here are a few notable comments:

“Welcome back Muta,”X user @WRLB2 wrote.

“He’s not really good at watching other people’s videos. He gets up and leaves most of the time lol,”commented @acidropOSY.

“Now you’re back on drama? This’ll be fun,”wrote @level94836.

“Welcome back, man, but I’m also sorry that this was what dragged you back here,”posted @DefonCocaine.

“Muta, it’s Hasan, you should expect him to go after anyone who he disagrees with,”tweeted @ClassicSpace101.

Reasons Behind SomeOrdinaryGamers’ Departure from X

In an insightful YouTube video posted on August 23, 2024, Mutahar discussed his rationale for deleting his X account. He asserted that his time on the platform yielded no “benefit,”additionally remarking that his presence on X felt like a “total waste of time.”

He elaborated on his decision, stating:

“Now, there are a couple of reasons for it. One of them is – it actually doesn’t really do any benefit. We actually ran the numbers, and cost-benefit analysis-wise, using X was a total waste of time, and actually offered no benefit to the YouTube channel whatsoever.”

Mutahar also highlighted that provocative posts by controversial figures, including Nico “Sneako”and Andrew Tate, played a role in his decision to leave X:

“A couple of days ago, I saw a Sneako post, and it’s funny because… I don’t even follow him! And, it’s a literal AI image of two Jewish guys, okay? They had a Black dude in the middle, and the Black guy had his, you know, head removed. It was kind of like a lobotomy or something like that. But the brain was replaced with fried chicken.”

In addition to SomeOrdinaryGamers, Ethan Klein of the H3 Podcast has also addressed similar allegations regarding support for violent actions, emphasizing the need for context in this ongoing discussion.
