This level kicks off right after the Hydration Facility, with both characters starting on a ramp. Mio will assume control of a turret and her first objective is to take out a turret located to the right. The stun effect is only temporary, compelling Zoe to proceed quickly before the turret becomes operational again.

Once the first turret is disabled, Mio can move along the railing to focus on another turret. This turret only poses a threat when Zoe enters its illuminated area. Therefore, Zoe should wait until Mio successfully stuns it before advancing.

2) Navigating Drones and Shields

After neutralizing the first turret, the next task involves targeting two drones hovering ahead. Zoe can use nearby boxes for cover as she makes her way forward.

A turret shielded by barriers will block Mio’s line of fire. She must navigate along the railing to secure a better angle for targeting it. Zoe can then move to a green area, where she can magnetize. Mio should shoot the yellow target above this patch, launching Zoe across a gap while swiftly stunning any drones that might threaten her progress.

3) Sniper Pathway and Trophy Unlock

Upon reaching the next section, Mio must utilize her sniper scope to stun the sentries that patrol the winding pathways. Zoe will find a cardboard box in this area; jumping inside will unlock the coveted “Snaaaaaaaaake”trophy.

Further along, Zoe can magnetize to a wall for a vertical ascent. At this higher level, she can activate a nearby switch that launches clay pigeons, allowing Mio to practice her shooting skills if desired.

4) Climbing and Platforming Dynamics

As you proceed to the right, climbing a wall becomes necessary. Mio must keep the drones at bay by stunning them as Zoe jumps from one magnetized wall to another. After that, Mio will leap to yet another wall while Zoe takes out the sentries in her path.

When Zoe reaches a corner, she can magnetize to a box on a rail. Mio should ensure the yellow switch nearby is shot to activate the box’s movement, facilitating Zoe’s progress forward.

5) Turret Strategies and Tactical Movement

Zoe will soon enter an area lined with turrets. These turrets are protected by structures, preventing direct targeting from Mio. Instead, Mio can shoot the yellow switches in front of these turrets to elevate protective walls that Zoe can use for cover while advancing.

In the upcoming segment, anticipate a patrolling sentry and three drones hovering nearby. Mio should stun the nearest sentry before quickly targeting the yellow switch to move a protective box along the path. Zoe should position herself behind this moving box to remain safe from the drones.

6) The Final Stretch

As Zoe scales a ramp, she will have to leap across a gap, ultimately landing on a moving box. Here, Mio should hit the switch to return Zoe to her side, a crucial action that completes the level and opens the pathway to the next area.

Successfully navigating the Prison Courtyard level challenges your ability to synchronize Mio’s turret operations with Zoe’s platforming prowess. Mio’s accuracy and quick thinking are essential to protect Zoe, while Zoe’s timing and agility are paramount for overcoming the various obstacles that arise.

By effectively collaborating and adapting to the challenges presented in this stage, players can overcome the Prison Courtyard and gear up for the ensuing adventures within Split Fiction.
