Unlocking the Chemical Plant Door in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

The Chemical Plant is not only a key location on the map but is also associated with one of the game’s many factions, known as the Ward. To access this area as a safe zone, players must progress through the storyline and achieve the Ward Badge, earned during the main mission titled Back to the Slag Heap. Upon entering the complex, head toward the northern part of the zone where a helicopter awaits.
From there, look up to your left to locate an open window in the adjacent building. Ascend to the window and vault inside. Navigate down the metal staircase towards the southern wall, where you’ll discover a keypad. The code for this keypad can be found in a nearby watchtower, but those eager to skip the search may enter 8506 to unlock the door.
Inside, players will discover the formidable Zubr-19 SMG, accompanied by a PDA that marks a new stash on the map. While the contents behind this door may initially seem sparse, the Zubr-19 is a versatile weapon that will serve players well throughout their journey.
If the aforementioned code is not what you seek, there are additional codes for the Chemical Plant vicinity: the Army Warehouses Door Code is 0690, and for the Promin CMD Factory Door, the code is 1976. Notably, the Army Warehouses also houses one of the journalist stashes, enriching the exploration experience.
