This stash, perched atop a towering building, requires a bit of climbing but rewards adventurers with not just one, but three powerful items essential for survival in The Zone.
How to Access the Journalist Stash in Pripyat
To find the Journalist Stash in Pripyat, players should begin at the Palace of Culture and proceed southeast down the main road. You will identify the stash’s location by a distinct white multi-story building. Your mission requires ascending several staircases to secure your rewards.
Gaining Entry to the Building
As you approach the building’s main facade, you may notice the lack of a visible entrance. To access the interior, navigate to the side and find the back entrance. Once inside, proceed up the stairs and along the corridor until you reach the main staircase.
Continue ascending the staircase until you arrive at the top floor. Here, you will encounter a locked door that hides the Pripyat Journalist Stash, complete with a keypad on the wall.
Unlocking the Keypad Door
If you’ve successfully gathered codes from other Journalist Stashes in Stalker 2, the necessary code will already be in your inventory. If not, simply input the code 2021 into the keypad to unlock the door.
Upon entry, players will discover a haunting scene with a dead body seated on a chair and a message inscribed in Russian on the wall. While some collectibles can be found in the room, the key item is located on the balcony—your prized Journalist Stash.
