On March 19th, an official from JTBC said to Xports News, “Jennie is not going to appear in ‘My Name Is Gabriel'” .
Jennie’s side also confirmed with Xports News, saying “Jennie received an offer but she refused it. She’s not going to participate in any entertainment program for the time being” .
“My Name Is Gabriel” is a new entertainment show produced by PD Kim Tae-ho. This program will show the cast members experiencing the lives of people in foreign countries.
PD Kim Tae-ho and Park Myung-soo will reunite and work together again for the first time in six years since “Infinite Challenge” ended. In addition to Park Myung-soo, Park Bo-gum, Hong Jin-kyung, Yeom Hye-ran, and Ji Chang-wook also joined the cast.
The production team is preparing for their filming schedule with the goal of airing the first episode in June.
