Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 introduces an all-new Medallion, Aspect of Agility, that unlocks the Underworld Dash mechanic. Here’s how to get and use it in the game.
Fortnite’s latest chapter goes all in on the Greek mythology theme, with new locales and AI inspired by the myths and legends of old.
One of the newest NPCs is Cerberus, based on the mythological creature. Provided you find and successfully challenge him, he’ll drop a new Medallion for players, the Agillity Medallion, which grants Underworld Dash.
How to get Underworld Dash in Fortnite
Interacting with this statue initiates the Cerberus fight.
Getting Underworld Dash is easier said than done. When you’re ready, head over to Grim Gate to challenge Cerberus, one of the new in-game bosses. You’ll find a statue to interact with, in the middle of Grim Gate. Interacting with it will toss it to the floor and summon Cerberus.
A battle will ensue, forcing you to clear two waves of AI wolves. Once they’re defeated, Cerberus will join the fight. Defeat him, and he’ll drop the Aspect of Agility Medallion, unlocking Underworld Dash for use.
How to use Underworld Dash
Underworld Dash is a new movement mechanic bound to your jump button. Simply press the jump button twice (for example, the X button on PS5 twice), and your character will dash forward.
Bear in mind that once you pick up the Medallion, you’re marked for the entire lobby to find you.
