‘911’ Actress Aisha Hinds Bids Goodbye to Co-Star After Character’s Passing: “I Cherish the Memories”

Aisha Hinds has expressed her heartfelt sentiments following the unexpected departure of her co-star from the hit series 911, as his character faced a shocking demise.

In the dramatic episode aired on April 17, the show experienced a pivotal moment by eliminating a crucial character for the first time in its eight-season run—L.A. Fire Captain Bobby Nash, portrayed by Peter Krause. This emotionally charged episode showcased Bobby’s ultimate sacrifice to save his team amid a grave scenario involving a deadly virus that threatened their lives.

Following this poignant turn of events, Hinds, who plays the role of Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a touching tribute reflecting on her eight seasons working alongside Krause. In her extensive post, she praised Krause’s incredible talent: “Peter Krause is a stunning actor,” she wrote. “His body of work has consistently evidenced this, and witnessing him imbue @911onabc with such depth, humor, and passion episode after episode has been a unique privilege I will cherish forever.”

Continuing her tribute, Hinds remarked, “Without question, our lives were altered with the departure of Bobby Nash, the heart of the 118. I cherish the special moments we shared that solidified our unique bond, both on-screen and off-screen. Engaging in playful banters during our transpo van rides and savoring comfortable silences were part of the fabric of our shared experience.”

She added, “As I faced the script, fear and sadness overwhelmed me while we shot each scene. As an actress and viewer, I felt awe, grief, gratitude, and reverence for the profound essence that Pete brought to the character of Bobby Nash. I honor his extraordinary dedication and the imprint he left on our show—and on my heart. I will always celebrate him.”

In the aftermath of this shocking episode, other cast members from 911 have also shared their tributes. Kenneth Choi, who plays Howie “Chimney” Han, expressed his admiration on Instagram, stating, “Peter Krause, you are the classiest guy, the most talented actor, and the loveliest human being. THANK YOU, PK. Love You Pal.”

Likewise, Oliver Stark, known for his role as Evan “Buck” Buckley, conveyed his sentiments online: “My Dear Friend Peter, we miss you at work every day. You were, and will always be, our leader.”
