The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has unveiled the roster of 40 esports organizations chosen for its 2025 Club Partner Program, a significant initiative designed to stimulate the growth of esports teams around the globe. This program aims to provide up to $1 million in financial support for each participating club, enabling them to enhance their brand presence, generate captivating content, and cultivate deeper relationships with their international fan communities as the excitement builds towards the upcoming Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2025.

Participating Teams in the Esports World Cup 2025 Club Partner Program

The 2025 lineup showcases an eclectic array of organizations, blending established giants, budding teams, and beloved favorites from various regions. China notably leads the charge with six selected teams, including All Gamers, Bilibili Gaming, Edward Gaming, JD Gaming, Weibo Gaming, and Wolves Esports. Other regions, such as North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia, are well represented, highlighting the program’s global appeal.

Below is the comprehensive list of teams chosen for the 2025 EWCF Club Partner Program:

  • North America: 100 Thieves, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, Sentinels
  • Europe: Fnatic, G2 Esports, HEROIC, MOUZ, NAVI, Team BDS, Team Vitality, Virtus.pro
  • Latin America: FURIA, Karmine Corp, LEVIATAN, LOUD, Movistar KOI

Among the selected clubs, eight received direct invitations due to their impressive results during the EWC 2024 Club Championship, while the remaining participants were chosen through a competitive open application cycle.

With nearly 200 applications submitted, the EWCF implemented rigorous selection criteria, evaluating teams based on their competitive history, engagement with fans, social media influence, and the potential to grow their global audience. This year’s group includes 19 newcomers to the program alongside 21 returning institutions.

While there are clear benefits in terms of funding and branding for participating in the Club Partner Program, this does not automatically guarantee a position in the highly anticipated 2025 Esports World Cup. Teams must still navigate the qualification process to secure their spot in what promises to be one of the most monumental esports events ever held.

Set to take place in Riyadh, the Esports World Cup 2025 will bring together top-ranked teams, elite players, and passionate fans for an unparalleled multi-game competition, enriching the esports landscape.
